Noah's Ark

Synopsis

Humanity does not reside alone on this earth. Nor can we claim exclusive ownership, for this world belongs to animals too. Noah's Ark describes the relationship between humankind and animals, tackling head-on the eternal problem of our "coexistence." This magnificent fabric, in which living beings are an extension of one another, is what gives our environment its balance. Hailing from Hokkaido, Kei Honjou offers us a touching documentary work, an ode to nature that gives a voice to animals and questions the choices made by our modern societies. A humanist manga, in the best sense of the word. (Source: Black Box Editions, translated)
